Helene's
top ten Rx
favorites
Here
is a grocery list of what I consider to be:
"cream of
the crop, therapeutic cuisine".
Add these to
your therapeutic grocery list.
1. PROTEIN-RICH / NUTRIENT-DENSE BEVERAGES
PHYTO-PLANKTON:
green cuisine from the
sea
Okay, so you may
not find this bottle on your typical store's shelf. But, you can have it
delivered to your front door, and save a bundle on gas and time! I recently
added this beverage containing over 200 varieties of PHYTO-PLANKTON
to the top of the Rx grocery list, after searching for something to
help heal my
father, who could not swallow, walk, or talk. I discovered this ionic
tonic, and decided to share it with him and the world. It is the most
therapeutic beverage on the market.
- Click the
purple bottle to hear
how this ionic ocean plant-based tonic saved the life of the man who manufactures it.
- Take this "ionic tonic" from the sea
on an empty stomach, first thing in the
morning, and/or before bed, or as an
afternoon "pick-me-up".
- Shake up it before you drink it. Sip it, and swirl around in your mouth,
allowing the ionic potion to be absorbed sublingually (under your tongue) and via
mucous membranes (in the mouth)
INGREDIENTS
- contains 14 amino acids, omega 3's & 6's,
Vitamins A, B (all of them, including B6 & B12), C, D, E, 72 ionic minerals: Alanine, Arginine, Asparagine,

- “Marine Phytoplankton is one of the
most rare ingredients on the planet because it contains, in a concentrated
form, almost everything you need for life or the rebuilding of a healthy
life.”
− Jerry Tennant, MD. Head of the
Tennant Institute of Integrative Medicine in Dallas, TX.
- “Marine Phytoplankton is an ideal
food for mankind. It is Mother Nature’s milk from the ocean.
The
research we are in the process of designing at the University of Utah
College of Health, will continue to discover the health benefits of Marine
Phytoplankton. This is very exciting and promising.”
− Hugo Rodier, MD. Adjunct
professor in the Family Practice Program of Social Medicine at the
University of Utah School of Medicine
2. ORGANIC
DARK CHOCOLATE, COCOA, "SHAKES"
...71% or more
...this shake actually belongs
in category #1:
Protein-rich, nutrient dense beverages! But, since it
only comes in one flavor...
Dark chocolate, non "Dutched",
without any alkali added, is one of the most nutrient-dense, healing foods
on the planet! Recent studies indicate dark chocolate may be helpful in
managing blood pressures, insulin response and in assisting small capillaries
with the healing process. Have a dose between meals, or 15 minutes before your
meal to reduce your appetite. To manage your intake of saturated fats, yet enjoy the flavor of chocolate
all day long, use cocoa powder with your beverages, plain yogurt, and
desserts. Have fun with this!
3. LOW
GLYCEMIC SWEETENERS
...like xylitol, stevia, agave or "yacon"
Cutting down on glycemic sweeteners is a
therapeutic move! Reduce refined sugars
to manage blood sugars, blood fats (triglycerides) and strengthen immunity.
Yacon
is perfect for sugar-intolerant folks...

Yacon Syrup is something really different! Like agave, yacon is a low
glycemic syrup. Most roots and tubers store carbohydrates as starch. Yacon
stores it as fructo- oligosacaride (FOS), a polymer primarily consisting of
fructose -- which is inherently low glycemic. FOS is considered a subgroup of inulin, since it has a similar
molecular structure, but with shorter fructose chains. Because Yacon has the
ability to sweeten with a minimal effect on blood sugar levels. It is an excellent alternative.
Click on the bottle and read up on it.
Agave Syrup
is a low glycemic
sweetener made from Cactus. It comes in two colors. Clear varieties
are used for recipes that would be affected by the dark amber color.
Stevia is for those who want
something sweet, yet it is completely free of carbohydrates! Stevia is
an herb you can grow in your garden. Only the fresh, dried and concentrated versions
are loaded in nutrients. the clear varieties come in a variety of flavors to
sweeten beverages, yogurt, shakes, plain kefir...
Xylitol is granulated, like
table sugar (sucrose) and is another low-glycemic sweetening option. It
contains carbohydrates, only less per gram than sucrose.
Xylitol also fights tooth decay. Bacteria simply can not live on this
five-carbon sugar!
4.
SEAFOOD (avoid the farmed variety)
Salmon and Tuna are rich in Omega-3
oils which help thin the blood, manage inflammation and moods/brain chemistry.
Just remember: the bigger the fish, the more mercury build-up.
This is why sardines, anchovies, herring and salmon are better choices than tuna and
mackerel. Here's a great tip: The 99 Cent Stores are great sources for canned,
marinated herring, cans of salmon, sardines, anchovies... these foods are, in
fact, quite therapeutic! (photo of Vital Choice brand of fish)
Dislike
seafood?
Eat what fish eat, minus the mercury:
Phytoplankton! It's rich in Omega 3's, just like Salmon, Tuna and
Sardines....
5. HORMONE-FREE
MEAT & DAIRY
(preferably grass-fed)
Think about it...
Do you want to ingest milk, cheese, other dairy and meat products from
animals who have been tortured, pumped with hormones, low-grade
antibiotics, feeding on pesticides and fungicides sprayed on cheap
grain-based cuisine? Cows prefer grass over corn. But they are fed
grains to fatten them up. Grass is rich in omega-3
rich oils. Omega-3s assist in managing inflammation and brain chemistry. Therefore, grass fed beef is therapeutic
in nature. Not to be redundant, but cows prefer grass. (Photo
taken of Abbot-Sheindel Farms for Organic Valley, Inc.)
If
you dislike red meat,
guess what?
Phytoplankton contains 14 amino acids to build protein, repair cells and
tissues!
6. THERAPEUTIC
OILS (never heat them - just drizzle on!)
Vegetable oils must be "cold pressed" or "unrefined" and
stored in dark bottles. Nuts and seeds contain precious oils when in their
raw state, such as in the pulse bars, breakfast cereals, and soups. Nuts and
seeds should avoid extreme heat. These essential oils are best drizzled on food after it has been
cooked, although they are perfect for marinating, avoid frying with them.
Experiment with a drop of garlic oil in your soup or on steamed
vegetables. Add a drop of cinnamon oil to your breakfast cereal or protein shake.
Try
all the flavors! Add to salad dressings, or to raw salads.

7. NUTRIENT-DENSE
GRAINS
Grains made with bleached, boraxed and
brightened flours and sugars aggravate diabetes, heart disease and weaken the
immune system. It is crucial you eat whole grains with at least three grams of fibers per serving. The more fibers you eat, the more you can balance hormones, naturally. You feel younger when your hormones are
in sync! Plus, combine with lot's of water or fluids to clean
out your intestinal tract!

"Raw" Protein Pulse
Bar "Raw" Apple
Cinnamon or "Raw" Almond Raisin Oatmeal
8. HOT
SOUPS
Studies indicate soup
eaten before a meal will fill you up, so you eat less at that meal. Soup
made with refined pasta (bleached, boraxed and
brightened flours) and hydrogenated ingredients need to be strictly avoided.
They aggravate diabetes, heart disease, inflammation and weaken the
immune system. It is crucial you eat soups with fiber-rich whole grains and
legumes, like black beans, lentils, and soy, if you can tolerate it. Eat more fibers
to balance hormones, naturally. Plus, legumes really clean
out your intestinal tract! Click on each image to

yet are seeking "raw" ingredients, here's a real solution for you.

ingredients that will nourish your senses, your cells and your emotional
self!

9.
FIBER-RICH, NUTRIENT-DENSE, VEGETABLES!
Vegetables hydrate
your cells. They provide soluble and insoluble fibers to clean your gut
and balance hormones, naturally. Vegetables are nutrient-dense and rich
in phyto-nutrition to keep you healthy and feeling strong.
We all agree it can
be challenging to prepare vegetables. It can be tedious to prep them
when you are stressed out and short of time. That is why, it is a good
idea to have some dehydrated options lying around. + Raw ingredients!!

Add dehydrated
vegetables to soups, salads, or chomp right out of the can.

HYDRATION / FLOWER / PLANT ESSENCE REMEDIES
...now,
for the really evolved beings on this planet...
Ionized
water is the best choice because it assists your body in becoming
more alkaline ...that's important to manage low-grade inflammation.
Flower
essences and plant essences can assist in healing your
"emotional" body. They impact you spiritually, energetically,
vibrationally....
Rainmaker-
5.8oz/165 g
This flower essence supports
your emotional health. Roses are electric. In one field of plant nutrient
analysis, researchers rank plants according to their ability to emit delicate
and finely-measured electrical frequencies. Empty, nutrient-poor foods emit
extremely low frequencies measured in MHz. Florals, such as roses, rank the
highest in electrical frequencies. EarthTribe named this bouquet of
floral essences Rainmaker because of the legend of the Rainmaker. The
Rainmaker is the source of all power, moving the heavens and the earth.
Rainmakers take responsibility for everything around them. This remarkable blend
of floral flavors created by their AMP
process will infuse a life force throughout your body almost instantly. Distance
yourself from the frequency of empty nutrition with an infusion of Rainmaker in
