Conscious Cuisine begins with ingredients free of "genetically modified
organisms"
In the mid-1990's, WITHOUT
THE CONSENT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE,
WITH ZERO SAFETY STUDIES
PUBLISHED, THE FDA ALLOWED Monsanto to add GMOs to our food supply:
canola,
corn, cotton, soy, squash, sugar beets, Hawaiian mangoes, alfalfa...
Genetically Modified Organisms
were introduced into our food supply by profit-oriented company, Monsanto. This technology
was never proven safe... EVER. Genetic engineering splices genes, DNA [genetic material]
of one species, like bacteria, viruses, insects, completely foreign to our
human body. This DNA is randomly injected into an entirely different
species of plant or animal, creating new kingdoms that did not exist before
they started "playing GOD" with our food supply! Where is the
"Christian Right" on this issue? Or, for those who follow strict
Kosher guidelines, insects, viruses and bacteria ARE NOT KOSHER! GMOS MUST BE
LABELED! Better yet, they gotta go!
"Several animal studies indicate serious health
risks associated with genetically modified foods". The risks include:
infertility, immune problems, faulty insulin regulation, changes in major
organs, changes in our DNA within the gastrointestinal system and overall
accelerated aging."
This is the same group of physicians who also alerted the
public to other Monsanto products which proved deadly and were removed from
the marketplace, including AGENT ORANGE & DDT. I feel it is my responsibility as a
registered dietitian to raise the awareness of consumers to this "white
elephant" everyone seems to want to ignore. So,
tell me... is that what you want to eat? Franken-foods created by Monsanto
were NEVER ACTUALLY PROVEN SAFE by the Food and Drug Administration?
Personally, I hate being lied to. I hate that Monsanto falsified scientific
studies and smeared the reputation of any scientist who tried to warn the
American public of the dangers of genetically modified organisms.
Let's take the reins back ...let's

It costs food manufacturers not
even one penny more to request NON-GMO INGREDIENTS from their suppliers. It is
up to us ...CONSUMERS ...TO CREATE THIS TIPPING POINT! WE
MUST DEMAND TO KNOW THE TRUTH!
The natural products industry has exploded with
conscious and therapeutic options!!
