Company Profile
My name is Helene Berk, M.Ed., R.D. I've been a registered dietitian
for over 25 years. I've attended New Hope Natural Products Expos for over
15 years in search of the most conscious, therapeutic cuisine and non-toxic
products in today's natural products marketplace. I educate consumers
about conscious cuisine AND killers in the kitchen, via my blog, Rx Grocery
Guide and on my radio show:
I have extensive experience in working with groups and individuals,
in a variety of settings:
I've presented workshops at the University of California San Diego [UCSD],
Whole Foods [in Beverly Hills, CA & Woodmere, OH] and SPECTRUM
fitness club in LA. I've conducted cardiac seminars for The American
Heart Association, Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Pain
Management Center. I've taught students at the college level and
conducted employee wellness workshops at corporations like TRW, Figgie
International and Sherwin Williams.
On an individual basis, I provide % body fat testing, metabolism
measurement and personalized counseling ...in person, over the phone, or
via Skype ~ http://skype.com/healthypeople
When I lived in LA, I worked for an endocrinologist who was also a
professor at UCLA. I counseled patients at his "Metabolic Health
Center" who were pre-diabetic, diabetic, and those with metabolic
syndrome.
